Letter of Application
Once you have determined that your organization's mission fits into one of the Foundation's major areas of focus, the application process is simple. Submit a one-page Letter of Application detailing your request and the specific purpose(s) for which funds will be used. If this is your first request to the John and Happy White Foundation, include a copy of your organization's 501(C)3 determination. This is the Federal IRS letter. Other supporting documents may be included.
Your letter will be forwarded to the appropriate Foundation board member for review and follow-up. You will be contacted if more information is required, or if a board member wishes to visit your organization. You will be notified as to the decision made by the Foundation Board as to your request.
